APW - Illinois, Bunn Special "26 Ruby Jewels," 18S, beautifully engraved GF OF original case, SW-LS, WE-DSD, fully capped lever escapement, capped third wheel, jeweled barrel arbor, internally jeweled barrel, 26J, two-tone wavy ribbon pattern damascene, s#2019415. Beautiful high end example of this rare highest jeweled Illinois watch.
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, excellent plus mvt condition overall, strong two-tone color, few typical MFS, very small surface scuff at inner edge of barrel bridge above letter "e" in Special, small and mild scuff at main plate edge after word Jewels, casescrews not matched to other mvt screws; dial very near perfect with only some tiny nicks to lower rim of seconds-register hole; case shows virtually no wear, typical mild MFS, no dents or dings, engraving and ET detail is very sharp; tight bow, crown shows virtually no wear; good glass crystal.
